SECOND WIND

THE AUTOMATIC AUXILIARY VACUUM SYSTEM

When the vacuum pump that powers your instruments breaks down, this system automatically lights a warning light, informing you that your vacuum pump has failed, and switches to your engine intake manifold vacuum source to keep your instruments operating for a safe landing. No pilot input is required.

The IFR pilot's workload is already near maximum without losing autopilot or vital instruments. In much of today's haze that most of us encounter on a daily basis in flight, even the VFR pilot would have great concern if he lost his Directional Gyro or Attitude Indicator. Vacuum pumps are notorious for breaking down when you least expect it and usually at a very inopportune time. The "Second Wind" system completely eliminates that concern and puts the fun back into flying at a price we can afford. $375.00
