Monday, May 5, 2003 Report from Reykjavik, Iceland Karl and John left Lelystad on Sunday, May 4, and flew to Blackbushe where they spent the night. Monday--right on schedule--they began their return crossing of the Atlantic, making it to Reykjavik, Iceland with plenty of daylight to spare. They spent the night at the Reykjavik airport hotel, but experienced some technical difficulties with Karl's Internet server. Several pictures and a report were sent but were corrupted and did not make it through cyberspace. Fortunately, three pictures did slip through and are shown below.
